Alberta Science Network is looking for volunteers in the Lethbridge area for our Scientists & Engineers -in-the-Classroom program.

If you answered yes then Alberta Science Network, has volunteer opportunities for you with the Scientists & Engineers-in-the-Classroom program!
The key to our programs is passionate volunteers who share their enthusiasm for science with students and their teachers! We have meaningful opportunities for committed scientists, engineers and experts in the field in the Southwestern Alberta area. Volunteers are provided with training and assistance developing their presentations to ensure success from the beginning.
This program is offered free to teachers. Some of the most popular requests we get from teachers are:

Exploring Liquids (Grade 2)
Magnetism (Grade 2)
Rocks and Minerals (Grade 3)
Building with a Variety of Materials (Grade 3)
Hearing and Sound (Grade 3)
Waste and our World (Grade 4)
Building Devices and Vehicles that Move (Grade 4)
Electricity and Magnetism (Grade 5)
Classroom Chemistry (Grade 5)
