Launched in January 2014, Environment Lethbridge was formed to build relationships between business, government and local organizations in order to improve and promote sustainability in Lethbridge.
Environment Lethbridge is currently seeking nominations for their Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is the governing board of the organization and is responsible for overall direction, policy and governance. The Executive Committee meets monthly and the estimated commitment is 6-8 hours per month.
We are looking for individuals to filling the following roles:
- Treasurer (effective November 2017)
- Secretary (effective November 2017)
- Director (effective immediately)
Two of the three positions should be filled by representatives from our community partners, while the other position is open to members of the public.
Interested in trying out some board governance work before committing to a full board role? Environment Lethbridge has several committees with shorter term commitments that might appeal to you including: alternative energy, membership & volunteer committee, and waste & recycling.
