Lethbridge Neighbourhood Watch is hoping to find a dedicated volunteer who has great leadership skills, and who loves to bring people together to have fun and rally around a cause! The Bingo Coordinator will help the organization find, organize and lead Bingo volunteers for our Winners’ Bingo fundraiser, which occur twice per year. The Bingo Coordinator will also be responsible for providing training to new volunteers for their bingo position, and attending two annual bingo hall meetings.
Time commitment: Bingo itself takes about 5 hours (4:45-10pm) two times per year (next one is in April), and the Bingo Coordinator would ideally be able to attend these to help give the team consistent leadership and support. The Bingo Coordinator will also organize and schedule bingo volunteers prior to each bingo (which typically takes an hour or two). This involves calling and/or emailing potential volunteers the week before our bingo date.
We would also welcome the Bingo Coordinator’s ideas and help to recruit additional volunteers, and provide meaningful recognition for our volunteers.
The Lethbridge Neighbourhood Watch Society is a community-driven organization that works to build safer, stronger neighbourhoods. You can learn more about them here: http://lethbridgeneighbourhoodwatch.com/
