The P.I.N. (People in Need) Bank at Streets Alive was started because there was a need to offer access to clothing and household goods to people without charging them for the items. The P.I.N. Bank acts as a closet for these people. The result is that once a week (more often in the bad weather) they are able to come and get clean clothes in exchange for the clothes they are wearing. Those clothes are laundered and re-entered into the bank. Streets Alive is in need of more volunteers to sort the donations they are receiving.
There is work to do every day between 9:30-4:30! Volunteers are welcome for short shifts or all day if they have the time.
Volunteers need the ability to do stairs to access our PIN bank, as well as the ability to lift over 10 lbs.
