Position Program Director
Description Southern Alberta Self-Help Association (SASHA) is a non-profit community organization that promotes the independence of adults with mental illness by means of supportive housing, programs, and activities. We operate 3 group homes close to downtown Lethbridge and support clients living in the community. SASHA supports clients in becoming contributing members of our community. We help prepare them, often recently discharged from the hospital, to re-integrate into the community.

SASHA Supportive Living has an opening for a contract position as Program Director, to support the Executive Director with operations.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9-5pm with some evenings or weekends for special events.

Contract Start Date: Immediately

Contract End Date: March 31, 2021 (Opp. for extension pending funding approval)

Responsibilities Duties include:
• Human resources: full cycle recruitment, supervision and performance management, conflict resolution and additional staffing support
• Program development and support: develop and maintain SASHA policy and procedure, support new and existing grants and funding opportunities, participate on behalf of SASHA at community meetings, committees and activities
• Data management: ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports, manage outgoing contracts, ensure necessary information is vetted and relayed to appropriate staff or stakeholders
Qualifications Education & Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, psychology or related field
• A minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory experience and 2-3 years of direct experience with policy and grant writing
• Experience with program development considered an asset
• Experience with non-profit organizations preferred
• Equivalencies will be considered
Valid driver’s license and criminal record check required prior to start date.
Benefits Wage: $30-$37/hr* (negotiable based on experience & education)
