Position Keep In Touch volunteer caller - Keep In Touch
Impact Statement Keep In Touch fosters relationships between individuals who want to support the community with community members that need a reach out. Feelings of isolation and loneliness within members of our community have serious physical and mental health consequences for individuals and their families. Which means there are huge community impacts. This program will reconnect community.

Vision- Community members feel connected and engaged through regular contact with someone who cares.
Description Do you want to connect with the community and contribute meaningfully? Do you have an hour or 2 a week to talk on the phone? Volunteers in the Keep In Touch program make friendly weekly phone calls to community members feeling lonely and social disconnected. You can call from the comfort of your home on your own schedule.

We all have wisdom and interests to share. Won’t you brighten someone’s day and share yours?

Keep In Touch volunteers will call community members on a weekly basis to provide a friendly chat and a connection to referral services, if the community member expresses a need for outside support. This is a supportive role for our community.
