Position: Canada Day Volunteers Needed - Canada Day at the Galt Museum

Description: We are looking for volunteers to help out at the old-fashioned Canada Day Carnival at the Galt Museum and Archives on Monday July 1. Volunteers are needed from 12:30pm-5pm. Volunteers are asked to arrive to the museum by 12:30pm to help with set-up, the event runs from 1-4pm and clean-up should be done by 5pm. Volunteers will take turns having a break in the afternoon and pizza will be provided. Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
• Greeters
• Popcorn
• Lemonade
• Cupcakes
• Floaters
• Photographers (booth & event photos)
• Games (inside & outside)
• Volunteer to dress up as a fortune teller and give fortunes
• I am also interested in any volunteers that have skills that would fit with the carnival theme such as a magician, juggler, puppets, acrobatics, clown, balloon animals, etc.
Required Information: Police Check: Required
Training Details: Working with public, helping with games, etc
Working Conditions: Inside/Outside - training provided on the job
