Volunteer Lethbridge

Project Paintbrush

Project Paintbrush was created to assist Lethbridge seniors and special needs homeowners who are physically and financially unable to paint their fences. Each summer individuals, community groups, and corporate employees volunteer their time to paint homes and fences in our community.

Want to Help Out? Volunteer!

We welcome new, individual, corporate/business and group volunteers to any of our projects! Volunteers gain a plethora of skills and experiences by learning how to paint an outdoor project from start to finish, interacting with other community members, understanding the impact of volunteerism on the lives of others, developing team building skills, enjoying time outside and painting a difference for homeowners.

Our coordinators create a safe and enjoyable environment to ensure volunteer experiences are memorable.

Project Paintbrush has made a difference in the lives of many local seniors and special needs individuals over the past several years. All homeowners report being very satisfied with the work completed. The newly painted projects allow these individuals to remain in their homes with a renewed sense of pride.

There is always an ongoing need in Lethbridge and in rural areas for Project Paintbrush and we hope to help more people in our community and surrounding areas for many summers to come.

We welcome financial contributions or a range of donations in kind.

Become involved and make a difference with Volunteer Lethbridge  and Project Paintbrush by becoming a sponsor.

One way you may consider giving back to the community is by providing support either as a financial, food, water, or gift-in-kind contributions to this year’s program. If you are a corporate organization, a commitment to Project Paintbrush is an excellent way to compliment your business’ yearly sponsorship donations campaign, while creating a sense of pride among your team. There are many benefits to becoming a sponsor with Project Paintbrush.

Sponsorship Benefits

Project Paintbrush was created in 2003 to assist seniors and individuals who are physically and financially unable to maintain the exterior of their homes. When you become involved with this program, you know you make a difference to the community. As Janice states: “I couldn’t be happier with the excellent job. I am amazed at the amount of people who showed up and was very impressed with them. I am glad that project paintbrush is available to the community. I just can’t say thank you enough!”
