National Volunteer Week Expo
Looking for ways to give back to your community? Join us for the Volunteer Expo on April 27th from 11 AM to 5 PM at Park Place Mall! This is your chance to meet up to 20 local nonprofit organizations, learn about their missions, and explore volunteer opportunities that match your interests and skills. Whether you're passionate about supporting youth, seniors, the environment, or social services, there’s a cause waiting for you!
Nonprofits will be on-site to share how volunteers make a difference in their work and to answer any questions you may have about getting involved.
If your nonprofit is interested in tabling, reach out to Nicole, our Membership Manager, at Nicole@VolunteerLethbridge.com to see if there’s still space available. Priority for tables is currently being held for Volunteer Lethbridge members.

NVW Kickoff + Flag Raising
Celebrate National Volunteer Week with us at City Hall on April 28th at 10:00 AM! Mayor Blaine Hyggen will speak on the importance of volunteerism, followed by a ceremonial flag raising to honor the dedication and impact of volunteers in our community.
Come together with fellow community members to show appreciation for the volunteers who make Lethbridge a better place. We look forward to seeing you there!
Volunteer Luncheon
Following the National Volunteer Week Flag Raising, join us at City Hall at approximately 11:00 AM for a special Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. This event celebrates our phenomenal community of volunteers who have chosen to give back through volunteerism.
City officials and Volunteer Lethbridge staff will be in attendance to recognize and celebrate the contributions of volunteers. Enjoy some food, connect with community leaders, and be part of this inspiring celebration of service and inclusion.

Sweet Treat Giveaway
Join us at Safeway on May 3rd for a special cake giveaway in honor of National Volunteer Week! Our Membership Manager, Nicole Bosh, will be there to connect with the community and hand out some delicious treats as a small token of appreciation for all the amazing volunteers who make a difference in Lethbridge.

Volunteer Recognition Certificates Available
To help you recognize the incredible contributions of your volunteers, Volunteer Lethbridge is offering recognition certificates! Whether it's mowing your neighbor's lawn or volunteering at a food bank, we want to celebrate the contributions of all our community members. For Volunteer Lethbridge members, we can include your logo and the name/title of someone from your organization to sign the certificate. These certificates are also available to anyone who wants to honor the amazing work of a friend or community member!
